Welcome to my blog about burgers in Toronto!
The first one is the featured burger from “Big Smoke Burger” at the Eaton Center. I was there on saturday at noon and i chose the Combo with Fries, extra Bacon and Coke for 15$.
Description on their Website:
|Big Smoke Burger®|
|horseradish mayo, caramelized onions, smoked cheddar, tomato & lettuce|
The burger patty was really good. It was a tasty ground beef patty with a slightly pink center. The overall size of the meal was filling, but not too much. I had a good breakfast and was not starving so i was really satisfied afterwards. But on a good day when i were very hungry, this would be insufficient. The sauce was a disappointment, it tasted more like a salad dressing than a burger sauce. But what did i expect from “horseradish mayo”?!
The Fries were okay, but i have eaten better in my life.
The location was as good as expected under the circumstances that is was located in the urban eatery, a place with 24 self-service restaurants on the lowest floor in the eaton center.
To conclude, it was a reasonable start to the Burger Diaries.
